This is the month for lovers? It is time to spring into Spring. The Groundhog bit the Mayor, and other things
will happen this year, so lets’ get ready to fumble. There are many new events
for the Grace Park Coalition & the Howard Carter Foundation.
Gardening Club is ready to start. There is a free workshop in the downtown
library February 21, 2015; More information later. Photo Club will start. Anyone with photo experience is welcome. Anyone with just a desire is welcome. If you have a cell phone with a camera, that
is perfect to get started.
Hiking Club is already in effect. The Hiking Club hikes through Downtown Akron
and places along the Ohio & Erie Canal and other Historic places here in
Akron, Ohio. All are welcome.
The Carter Foundation Presents “John Malvin” First
Black Canal Boat Captain on the Ohio & Eric Canal. Howard Carter will portray the Image of John Malvin. There are other acting parts a available.
